The Mouthwatering Mixture of Japanese and Italian Cuisines
If Japan and Italy had a lovechild, it would look a lot like the menu at this groundbreaking and buzzy spot. Chef Felice, a James Beard-nominated Rising Chef Star Chef, marries the umami-rich elements of Japanese and Italian cuisine to create flavor-popping fare that will make you think these two cuisines are soul mates. What better way to highlight Japanese and Italian cuisine together than learning how to make a homemade Wafu Italian pasta. In this class you will learn how to make by hand Sesame Gnochetti Sardi, also known as Malloreddus. Felice will be serving the pasta with a Wafu Italian ginger ponzu pork sausage ragu and broccolini. At this masterclass, lucky attendees will get a hands-on expert lesson in how to create the most untraditional Italian pasta. Can someone say “WAFU ITALIAN?”
